1 in 3 PIP implants removed in Belgium "problematic"
In a third of the removed PIP breast implants in our country, there appears to be a problem. Since mid-December 2011 106 women were inferior to remove breast implants from French manufacturer PIP. "70 women were preventively remove the implants. At 28, the envelope was torn, with 6 leaked gel and another two women had inflammation," said spokesperson Ann Eeckhout. "When one of the three, there was indeed a problem."
